As VATSIM celebrates 25 years, they are proud to introduce VATSIM Listen, a new way to tune in and listen to live ATC communications from across the network.
VATSIM Listen is currently in its initial rollout phase, meaning access is intentionally limited while the team monitors the service’s performance and stability. To use the service, users must have a registered VATSIM account.
During this early release period, listeners are limited to 15 minutes of listening time per hour; in addition, only a set number of users can access the service simultaneously, which helps manage demand as the platform is gradually expanded.

For now
- Must have a registered VATSIM account.
- You can listen for up to 15 minutes during each hour.
- The service supports a limited number of listeners at any one time.
- During busy periods, you may be unable to connect or may be disconnected due to demand. If that happens, simply try again a little later.
