A new scenery developer called Vatil Development Group has formally announced their ambitions to create Ilan and Asaf Ramon Intl. Airport (LLER) for Prepar3D V4 and X-Plane 11. The airport has been in development for the past few months by the team and they’re now in a position to share it with the community.
This airport is new for the city of Eilat in Isreal. Ilan and Asaf Ramon Intl. Airport and is the second largest only behind Ben Gurion International Airport. The airport was officially opened in March 2019 and is named after Isreal’s first astronaut, Col. Ilan Ramon and his son Capt. Asaf Ramon (who sadly died in an F-16 crash in 2009).
Vatil Development Group are extremely passionate about the project and will initially release the product for Prepar3D v4, and eventually for X-Plane 11. So far the team has confirmed that the project will have high=resolution ground polygons covering the airport, photoreal surroundings including the city of Eilat and of course use technology such as dynamic lighting and PBR.
The first renders are down below to feast your eyes on.
