VA Systems Releases In-Game Panel for MSFS

The awaited in-game panel is now available to download.

VA Systems Releases In-Game Panel for MSFS

Developer VA Systems has been teasing a new in-game panel since last year, but they have now finally released the product for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The new in-game panel will allow anyone to add missions and activities using any aircraft, plus allowing for ‘app’ development to come in the future.

The new VA Systems Panel will give you the ability to scan all of your existing VA Systems mission packs and display them in a coherent manner, along with the ability to filter the data in a new area called the Activities App. Not only that, but you will now be able to fly any route with any aircraft instead of being restricted by the predefined mission. You can view any mission and simply pick the aircraft you want to fly, including third-party aircraft.

This new ‘Activities App’ will be fully airline or airport specific, updated seasonally and based on real-world data. You can filter and sort based on a number of criteria you decide, using the in-sim panel. If a mission pack is yet to support the panel, a free update is coming soon for it.

In the future, there will be further applications within the panel, including a checklist app, flightplans, and more. Aesthetically, VA Systems has worked on ensuring that the product is visually clean and clear to use, with an iPad-style interface. It works on both PC and Xbox, with full support for the Xbox controller.

The in-sim panel itself is free from the VA Systems website. However, in order to appear in the Marketplace, VA Systems had to apply a $4.99 USD download fee. That said, upon downloading, you will be entitled to then sync up your account to their website and claim a free £5 voucher to spend at any time on their store (as it doesn’t expire). This also applies to users who download the Panel for free from our website will be eligible for the discount code.

A version of the panel will also come to MSFS 2024 in the future.
