Microsoft Flight Simulator scenery developer V Pilot Designs has teamed up with ARKA506 to release two airports in quick succession, KHPN Westchester County and MPTO Tocumen International Airport.
Westchester County Airport is a satellite airport of the New York City metropolitan area located just north of New York City in the White Plains area. The airport serves the local area with flights to Charlotte NC, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale by airlines such as American Eagle and JetBlue as well as shorter routes to Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and Rhode Island with Tradewind Aviation. The airport sees around 1 million passengers through its single small terminal each year. The terminal has six gates but only four can be used simultaneously due to the density and size of the aircraft ramps.
V Pilot Designs has recreated all buildings, terminals and hangars including parking garages, control tower, main terminal and the private aviation terminal of Million Air, Netjets, Flexjets and Signature Aviation.
Tocumen International Airport is located in the heart of Panama and serves the capital, Panama City and its surrounding areas. Home to Copa Airlines, Tocumen International Airport sees traffic from destinations worldwide such as New York, Madrid, Bogata and Frankfurt to name a few. The airport saw nearly 17 million passengers pass through its two terminals in 2019 making it the busiest airport in South America in terms of passenger traffic.
V Pilot Designs has included an accurate representation of all terminals, hangars, heliports and fire station. The scenery also includes nearby city landmarks such as the Rommel Fernandez Gutierrez Stadium and large ships near the famous Panama Canal. V Pilot Designs has also included additional lighting to city buildings too.
