Scenery developer V Pilot Designs has released Midland International Air and Space Port for MSFS, their third American airport scenery.
Located in western Texas, Midland International Air and Space Port (KMAF/MAF) is unique as it is licensed for commercial aviation and spaceflight operations. The airport initially served as an army training base during World War II before being converted to a passenger airport in the 1960s. Today, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines connect the airport to their nearby hubs, with Southwest Airlines offering the most destinations. Midland International Air and Space Port is also home to the Pliska Airplane, the first airplane built and flown in Texas.
V Pilot Designs’ rendition of the airport features accurate and highly detailed models of the airport terminal and hangars. In addition, the scenery includes custom jetways and PBR texturing on all materials. While Midland International Air and Space Port is a relatively small airport, the little details modeled in the buildings create an immersive airport experience.
You can purchase Midland International Air and Space Port from the Microsoft Marketplace for both PC and Xbox for $14.99 USD.
