Update 28 June 2019 – 11:35z
REX Simulations replied to our request with a brief statement explaining why certain stores would no longer be used by the developer.
Reed Stough (Managing Partner) stated, ‘There was nothing about the stores or their financial stability that caused this, it was strictly a business decision. That decision was purely to simplify and consolidate our business workflow by focusing on fewer stores. We will honor all discounts for our customers from these stores and will supply the products they need. If a customer needs assistance please contact our Tier 2 support team at support@rexgamestudios.com.’

REX Simulations has issued a brief statement regarding some changes to stores vendors that they will be supplying products to. The brief statement gave an overview on which vendors REX Simulations will no longer be selling products at as well as what do to if you have been affected by the changes.
The statement, which was issued via email and on the REX forums made it clear that effective immediately, REX products will no longer be sold through PCAviator, FSPilotShop or FlightSim.com. No reason was given at this time. However, we have reached out to the REX team to comment further on the reason behind the decision. We shall update this post once we hear.
If you purchased a product through any of the listed stores, then you will need to get in touch with REX via their support email to discuss getting files to you as well as support for future product updates. You can find the support email address on their forum post.
Whilst those three stores will no longer sell REX products, REX Simulations did confirm that four stores will continue to sell and make product updates available to you. These are as follows:
As mentioned, we have reached out to REX to provide further comment on these changes and we shall update the post accordingly if we hear back.
