Update: Turbulent Designs and Dovetail Games have released Big Bear City Airport for Flight Sim World. You can buy it now from Steam for $24.99. Since the release of Flight Sim World back in May, Dovetail Games have been updating the early access sim plenty. With trueSKY and the introduction of Cold and Dark, the sim is coming along nicely. The biggest element missing was 3rd party support and now teams are announcing projects for the sim more and more. Turbulent Designs are joining the third parties that offer content for the sim as they have announced they’re bringing Big Bear Airport to Flight Sim World.
As you can see from the previews, the team will be taking full advantage of the physically-based rendering technology built directly in Flight Sim World. The previews show some high altitude shots and some closer to the ground.
The team did confirm as this is a full new build of the airport, it will be a separate purchase even if you already own the FSX/P3D version. We loved the original version, and you can read our review here. Flying around Big Bear Airport will be perfect in Just Flight’s Arrow III.
