Update 11:05z on 31-Mar-2018: It has been confirmed that the release of Luton is planned for April 7th.
UK2000 Scenery has been on a steady path recently of converting all their existing products to X-plane. It’s been great to see such devotion to the project and it has impressed the X-Plane community. Today, they announced that easyJet’s home, Luton Airport, will be one of the next airports to receive this treatment.
The scenery will be based on the 2014 FSX/P3D release, so won’t be fully updated with the new terminal buildings and other structures being made in the area. However, the scenery will include custom light effects and halos, detailed texturing on the jetways and physical based rendering throughout. These X-Plane exclusive features sit on top of the high resolution textures, 3D approach lights and airport vehicles that make UK2000 Scenery airports shine.
No word yet on a release date, but when it is ready to download, the price will be £16.99.
