After a few ups and downs, it appears the problem has been resolved. Version 231 has been uploaded to the page and available to download. If you were lucky enough to download the release this morning, you’ll notice that you have version 230. The only change is the way activation is handled. You don’t have to update if you already have 230.

FSLabs has taken the installer offline temporarily as there appears to be an issue with the installer which was reported by some customers. The team are in the process of fixing and re-uploading the installer. When it’s back online, we will let you know.

After we published the latest update information for the FSLabs A320-X for P3DV4, we’re pleased to let you know that it’s now available to download.  As previously said, the new update includes brand new effects which are displayed on the external model in certain conditions, as well as improvements to the sound engine. You can also download a new version of FSLabs Spotlights as well.

This new update comes with it a range of logic and performance improvements, as well as some ‘powerful’ dynamic effects custom built by FSLabs. This includes dynamic engine start up effects (linked to oil temperature), tyre smoke (linked to landing rate), wing condensation (in fog/cloud), rain effects on the wing and more. I’m just glad those rain effects don’t impair my vision…yet…

Of course, these aren’t the only improvements found in this update. Sound has also been another big focus for the development team, providing reworks to the CFM engine sound effects, fixing missing gear sounds and nose wheel scrub sounds for when nose gear is skidding has been added.

There has also been general fixes including ADIRU save logic has been fixed, electrical loss upon landing has been resolved, and flare mode has been improved.
