Edit: We’ve been informed that this is not a port of the FSX/P3D build, but built from the ground up. We have edited the article slightly to reflect this.
UK2000 Scenery has released Luton 2020HD for X-Plane 11. Luton is one of the biggest airports in the UK and is home to easyJet, with Ryanair, TUI and Wizz Air all populating the apron frequently as well.
Whilst this is a port of the FSX/P3D version, UK2000 Scenery has said there are some limitations that people should be aware of. Due to how X-Plane 11 works, the tunnel in the FSX/P3D version is non-existent in the X-Plane 11 version, and the hotel area in the southwest is unrealistically flat. Whilst the team are aware of the fact that X-Plane can make sloped runways, the platform also needs to enable sloped buildings, fences and more to create natural-looking sloped environments.
The HD version of Luton Airport (EGGW) is now available for £18.48. Remember, if you picked up the airport when the FSX/P3D version released, this X-Plane version will be sat in your account already free of charge.
