Scenery developer UK2000 Scenery has released Inverness 2019 HD for X-Plane 11. The scenery release follows on from the FSX/P3D release a few weeks back. Inverness 2019 HD represents a new work-flow and improved technology from the UK2000 Scenery team to enhance and improve products going forward.
Inverness Airport (EGPE), in Scotland, sees frequent flights from a few airlines including easyJet, Loganair and British Airways, with some seasonal action from TUI and Corendon Dutch Airlines during the busier months. The airport has a scenic approach thanks to the nearby high terrain and forestry.
Just like the FSX/P3D version, the airport features realistic ground markings, high-resolution building textures and full PBR effects. The airport has also been designed with frame rates in mind to ensure performance is as best as possible.
UK2000 Scenery’s pricing strategy means that any airport developed with this new technology means that the price includes copies for all three simulators: FSX, P3D and X-Plane. So if you purchased the airport previously on those other platforms, then you can access your account to download the X-Plane for free. Otherwise, the scenery will cost you £18.48.
