Scenery developer UK2000 Scenery has released Glasgow Airport (EGPF) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Glasgow Airport is the second largest in Scotland and serves a wide range of worldwide destinations. easyJet, British Airways and Loganair all serve destinations across Europe, with Emirates, United and Virgin Atlantic serving long-haul destinations such as the US and Dubai.
The feature list provided by UK2000 Scenery lists the airport as being good on frames, despite the fully detailed buildings, HD ground textures and use of PBR throughout the airport. Developer UK2000 Scenery has also said that the scenery product also utilising many of the new features provided by the new simulator including a more accurate approach lighting mode and also the vegetation to populate the airport with frass, trees and scrubs. Sloping terrain is also used to help make the airport accurate to its real-world counterpart. Fencing has also made it to the feature list.
Despite not being listed as a feature itself, the screenshots showcase the scenery will display cold conditions such as ice and snow on the terminal buildings and aircraft movement areas.
