UK2000 Scenery has released its first airport product for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Located in the Southwest and home to numerous low-cost carriers, Bristol Airport (EGGD) is one of the busiest airports outside of London and in the region. Despite its short 6,500ft runway, there are numerous aircraft and routes that frequent the base including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner to destinations such as Orlando and Cancun in Mexico.
According to UK2000 Scenery, this product has been completely redeveloped for Microsoft Flight Simulator and is not a port of the Prepar3D or X-Plane 11 product released last year. The scenery features a sloped runway, and built to better represent Bristol Airport as it is today.
UK2000 Scenery did say that for those looking to install the product will need to manually find the Microsoft Flight Simulator Community folder, but that they are working on it. They also said that as this is the first product, they will be going back over and making changes as the SDK improves. “It’s a complex sim and all new stuff,” is how UK2000 Scenery described it.
Bristol 2020HD from UK2000 Scenery is available now from the store for £18.48, but if you are a previous owner of Bristol 2019HD on P3D/XPL, you can get 50% off. This link can be found in your account page.
