After a few previews earlier this month, UK2000 have held up to their promise and have delivered both Gatwick V4 for FSX/P3D and Manchester for X-Plane. That’s right, two airports for two sims! Busy day for Gary.
Let’s start with Gatwick.
Gatwick is the second busiest airport in the UK and one of the busiest single runway operations in the world. It also serves the most destination of any UK airport (yes, including Heathrow), so it’s a pretty popular airport for flight simmers. Version 4 comes packaged with plenty of updates that reflect the many changes happening to the airport including major rework of pier 5, the A380 stand (so Matt’s A380 will be a good fit here), transparent glass on the famous bridge as well as support for P3DV4.
If you’re an owner of V3, then you can get a fantastic 40% discount. Just make sure you’re signed in. If not, then you can buy it from UK2000’s webstore for £16.99.
Here’s the full change list:
1) New Pier1
2) New major rework of Pier5
3) New A380 stand on Pier6
4) Transparent Glass on Pier, Bridge and Pier3
5) New Hangers in Cargo Are
6) Uses latest UK2000 scenery methods
7) Improved higher images and models
and hundreds of others changes and improvements.
Now for Manchester.
Some images for Manchester in X-Plane were shared off a little while back and after a small delay, the release is finally here. It’s the most recent version of Manchester that has been converted into X-Plane 10 and 11.
You can buy Manchester for X-Plane for £16.99 direct from their website.
