Today UK2000 has released EGKK London Gatwick Extreme for both X-Plane 10 and 11. This anticipated release was announced on their official Facebook page just moments ago.
For those that don’t know, UK2000 has for years solely developed for the Microsoft ESP Platform but now has also started to target, and port their products to X-Plane too. This clearly is not an easy task, though the team has worked extremely hard to give the Flight Sim Community what they have wanted.
This rendition of EGKK includes custom taxiways, physical-based rendering on each Terminal window/reflective services and even interior Terminal modelling. The night lighting also looks great and should help with those night-time landings.
Here are all the features the team has added so far as a summary:
- Custom Light fx’s and halo’s.
- Custom Taxiways so you can see the stand you are selecting in the UI.
- Ground routes for AI (coming soon and we will update this post when these are added)
- Highly detailed Jetway textures
- Physical Based Rendering on terminal windows/reflective surfaces
- Interior Terminal modelling
