Version 1.2.0 of TerraFlora is finally here! Of course we knew it was coming, Turbulent Designs made no secret about that. But what we didn’t know yet was the contents of the update. And looking at the change log, it’s a big one! There are both new features, adjustments to the current features and some changes to the configurator and install process. It’s a lot, so we’ve taken the time to write about all the important things you need to know.
New features
- Multiple variants of fall colouring: a really nice and new feature that will make sure that you will see the subtle different colours that autumn brings with it. Even if an area is covered in only one type of tree.
- Red maple: this tree has been added, though a bit scarcely to depict its real world counterpart.
- Completely new acacias
- Documentation: for those who like to read
Adjustments
- Hard winter conifers: texture change to make them seem a bit less completely snow-heavy.
- Conifer color adjustment
- Refined poplar shape
Other changes
- Material changes for multiple species to reflect texture changes
- Added canopy poly for acacia
- Corrected relative texture path error
- TerraFlora will no longer install SODE
- Versioning improved (TD Terminal)
- Banner added for airport updates (TD Terminal)
- Minor bug fixes and improvements (TD Terminal)
- Installer bug fixes and improvements (TD Terminal)
As you can see, a big update with a lot of changes all over!
Turbulent Designs also stated they will be bringing updates to all their airports soon. These updates will include documentation, improved installers and other bug fixes.
We have a review of Turbulent Designs TerraFlora coming for you soon, so stay tuned for that!
