Turbulent Designs are on a roll. After the recent announcement of their newest airfield, 203 Angwin Parrett Field, less than two weeks ago, they just announced their latest airfield: L35 Big Bear City airport. Big Bear City Airport is known for rather challenging approaches and departures due to its high altitude (6752ft). Because of this, the airport operates a very specific set of rules for altitudes when approaching and departing.

As we have kind of come to know by Turbulent Designs, they like to give the surrounding area an extra touch. Around the airport they will cover an area of 1400km2 with high resolution textures. Just like their previous airport, Big Bear City airport will also make use of Turbulent Designs Real Flora technique.

Pilots eager to start flying in and out of L35 Big Bear City airport won’t have to wait long: it’s release will be on September 16th together with their brand new website. Until then, here are a few screenshots.
