St. Thomas airport is located approximately 2 miles (3km) west of the central business district of Charlotte Amalie on the island of St. Thomas which is in the United States Virgin Islands. Out of all the airports in the Virgin Islands, it is the busiest. The 7200 foot runway houses many types of small to medium sized aircraft from other parts of the Caribbean and East Coast of the United States.
