TropicalSim has released the newest airport in their line-up, Pico Island Airport (LPPI). It is located in the Azores, on Pico Island, where it is the only active airport. It hosts a small handful of domestic services with SATA and Azores Airlines serving Ponta Delgada, Terceria and Lisbon. Over 58,000 passengers travel through the airport yearly.
The scenery features a detailed model of Pico Airport taking advantage of dynamic lighting (for P3Dv4 only). TropicalSim has also included detailed photoscenery of the land surrounding the airport. The new custom coastline, landclass and roads make the scenery far more realistic than the default found in FSX and P3D.
