As it turns out, the Airbus A319 update we reported on was only the first in a series of updates that were planned for this month. ToLiss has now also released updates for the remaining aircraft in the line up as well. This time the focus is on the A320neo, A321(neo) and the A346. Not counting the recently released A330-900, this means the complete fleet has received an update. The updates range from a few bug fixes to more extensive system reworks, failures and (visual) enhancements. A full changelog is available below.
For the Airbus A320neo we see a number of bug fixes in, mostly related to aircraft systems. It fixes an issue with the RAM Air inlet indication and the autobrake now becomes disabled when two or more SEC (Spoiler Elevator Computer) are inoperative. Also on the Navigation Display, the selected heading value will be visible now (if not on the ARC page). A bug where the aircraft sent too many requests to the Hoppie network in a short time has also been fixed.
The update for the Airbus A321 and A321neo is quite a bit more extensive, covering new functionality, additional failures and reworked various FMS and MCDU functions. And now that the A321XLR has begun its service in real life, the fuel system configuration has now been adapted to this aircraft as well. This appears to also include a brand new RCT fuel panel for the A321XLR. Some of the new features include a simulation of trapped hydraulic fluid in asymmetric actuators, the ISCS (control panel) is now in the EFB and the MCDU now prefills RADIAL IN on the DIR TO page and shows EFOB in amber if there’s not enough fuel to reach the destination. In terms of aircraft systems, various ECAM changes have taken place such as the weight display logic and the way electrical bus failures are presented. When it comes to flight planning, a flight plan can now be built up from PPOS (present position) and when selecting a STAR, the VIA selection is now automatic. Finally an array of new failure modes are available, some of which include horizontal stabilizer jamming, slow and rapid decompression, cargo smoke and high lift failures (meaning your slats and flaps may become stuck). Also on the visuals have received some attention as the aircraft have now been fitted with visual Angle of Attack vanes. The flap lever guard is now animated and various text overlaps on the overhead panel have been fixed. The update is the largest in this aircrafts history and contains many more changes (see below).
And finally the first widebody in the ToLiss fleet, the Airbus A340-600 was also updated earlier this month. The update comes more than a year after the last one, but does contain a large amount of changes that cover almost any aspect of the addon. For this aircraft the ISCS has also been made available on the tablet (EFB). Both the MCDU and ECAM see the same improvements as the A321 and also the new failure modes for decompressions and slats and flaps getting locked have been added. Additionally quick starts for the engine and APU are also availabl and a number of bug fixes have been done such as the deicing animation for the wings, status page overflow issues and emergency generation behaviour. The magnetic variation model has now also been updated for the current year. The selectable values in the Flight Control Unit are now also matching real life. For example the maximum altitude you can set is 49000 feet. The landing gear compression at low aircraft weights has also been improved. Many more tweaks can be found in the changelogs below.
