Thrustmaster Launches HOTAS Warthog MKII

Thrustmaster has released the HOTAS Warthog MKII, a new version of its popular flight stick and throttle system.

The new HOTAS (Hands on Throttle and Stick) combines a 1:1-scale replica flight stick inspired by the U.S. Air Force’s Viper with the dual-throttle A-10C Warthog throttle. The flight stick features 19 action buttons, a two-stage trigger and an eight-way POV hat switch, while the throttle includes independent engine controls, 17 action buttons and a dedicated slew control.

The HOTAS Warthog MKII uses Thrustmaster’s H.E.A.R.T. Hall Effect technology; the redesigned base incorporates anti-stiction ball bearings and 16-bit sensor resolution, with the system designed to deliver precise inputs while reducing the potential for wear-related drift.

The new six-pin connector also allows the base to support a wider range of Thrustmaster grips, with up to 128 buttons and eight axes available depending on the configuration.

The HOTAS Warthog MKII is compatible with Thrustmaster’s T.A.R.G.E.T. software, allowing users to create customised control profiles for their favourite simulators.

The HOTAS Warthog MKII is available now from Thrustmaster’s UK store for £449.99.
