Thrustmaster has today announced they are bringing a range of civilian flight simulation products to market this summer, all of which are officially licensed by Airbus. With 30 years of experience in the market, this is the first time Thrustmaster has stepped into the ring to provide flight simmers with specific civilian hardware. These all integrate perfectly with all current and future simulators including X-Plane 11 and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Range of Airbus Related Hardware
Thrustmaster is announcing several products under the Thrustmaster Civilian Aviation (TCA) product range including an Airbus Edition Sidestick, a recreation of the Airbus throttle quadrant and an add-on for the throttles to include flap, parking brake and spoiler controls. A Flying Clamp will also be introduced later this year, too, to neatly attach all your products to your desk whilst maximising space.
TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition
Due to launch on June 25th 2020, the TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition is designed to give simmers an authentic 1:1 experience with an Airbus stick for use in their flight sims. The sidestick includes the Thrustmaster H.E.A.R.T system to give you an unlimited lifespan of a surgical precision when flying the aircraft. The stick also features 12 remappable action buttons offering a multitude of possibilities, plus a built-in throttle axis with reverse detent.
Another unique feature of the TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition is the interchangeable sidestick buttons which can be configured for the best fit. So whether you want to fly as Captain or First Officer, the choice is yours.

TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition
The TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition will release this coming September and is the perfect extension to the Sidestick by adding a fully immersive dual throttle system closely resembling the real aircraft. Designed on the A320NEO airliner controls, the throttle features two separate thrust levers complete with a built-in reverser mechanism. Each throttle also has the iconic detents so you can set the appropriate thrust power. However, they can also be disabled to give you the chance to use it with any type of aircraft.
The throttles also come with various buttons including replicas of the ignition switches, fuel cut-off switches and the ability to switch controls to enable four-engined aircraft to be powered by the control set-up.

Furthermore, the TCA Officer Pack Airbus Edition will feature both the Sidestick and the Quadrant and will be available on September 24th for an RRP of £149.99 / $159.99 / €159.99.
TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition Add-On
Following on the release of the TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition, Thrustmaster will release an add-on which will add functionality such as flap controls, spoilers and even the parking brake. Attaching directly to the quadrant console, it will expand your available controls for an even more immersive Airbus experience.

TCA Flying Clamp
To ensure you have enough space on your desk for your other accessories, Thrustmaster will also release the TCA Flying Clamp. These 100% metal made clamps are perfect for placing on your desk to keep your cockpit comfortable. They are a great solution for a range of Thrustmaster products including the TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition, the TCA Quadrant and also the T.16000M FCS.
