Less than a month since it was officially released, Thranda Design has previewed a new update to its DHC-2 Beaver aircraft for X-Plane 11.
Thanda design is known for its production of high fidelity and system rich aircraft for X-Plane 11, like the much acclaimed Quest Kodiak, and the Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter. The DHC-2 Beaver is now Thranda’s third major release since it parted ways with Carenado towards the end of 2019.
The new preview has come in the form of a video, which showcases one of the new features for the update, the addition of floats to the multiple variants already available for the aircraft. Make sure and check out the full video for a look at the float variant in action.
It is unclear when exactly we will see the update released, however we do know it will be free of charge to current owners of the product. The De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver is still available for it’s discounted introductory price of $34.95 (MSRP $39.95), and you can grab it from x-plane.org here.
