From the creators of Sharktooth Ridge, Parallel 42 has announced an invitation to a unique Halloween event taking place within Microsoft Flight Simulator. Based on the popular horror movie “Friday the 13th”, the developer has recreated the infamous Camp Crystal Lake, which they’ve assigned the airport identifier 42CL.
For those that don’t remember, Camp Crystal Lake is the site where Jason Voorhees met an unfortunate demise due to a few inattentive camp counselors. After the drowning, his mother sought revenge. At the end of the 1980 horror film, an undead Jason springs to life tormenting campers.
Edson Soriano, Managing Director of Parallel 42 took to the forums to set the stage for this spooky event by saying, “it’s rumored that Jason was eventually buried on site… and yearly, some of the most infamous will gather on the grounds to celebrate his life.” Will you find him dead or alive, and who else might be found stalking the campgrounds along with him?
