TG Sims has released the Bristol Type 188 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, bringing one of Great Britain’s most unique experimental aircraft to the simulator. Nicknamed the “Flaming Pencil,” the aircraft was developed in the 1960s to research sustained high-speed flight and contributed valuable data that would later influence Concorde’s development.
TG Sims has included both Bristol 188 airframes, XF923 and XF926, complete with custom cockpit modelling, MSFS24 native compatibility, bespoke gauges, and custom engine reheat effects. Additional features include optional exhaust smoke, a modern MSFS fuel system implementation, and an in-sim checklist.
While the real aircraft never featured an autopilot, TG Sims has included a basic version for convenience, and it should be noted that the aircraft is designed for entertainment purposes rather than study-level simulation.

You can purchase TG Sims Bristol Type 188 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 from simMarket for €9.59.
You can also purchase it for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 here, and buying either one entitles you to a free upgrade to the other simulator.
