In the same post as the MD-11 development update, TFDi Design shared the current development progress with their smartCARS 3 product. The software which helps track your flights, in particular when flying as part of a VA, has a new member of the development team which has helped propel the current situation.
The first of many new features is the fact that only one version of smartCARS will need to be installed regardless of the number of VAs you are part of with the software. Upon logging in, you will simply need to choose the airline from the list or use a premade URL. Further to the login process, there have been changes to the overall look and feel to the dashboard. You will see the latest news from virtual airlines, along with easier access to the chat functionality built into the software.
Work does continue with the software, with plenty still to come. The team are also working on a fully functional API, which will enable easy interaction with various systems including full support for phpVMS 7.
More details on TFDi Design’s upcoming smartCARS 3 can be found on the forum.
