A new update for TFDi Design’s MD-11 has been released. The new update sees 50 changes which all aim to improve the aircraft product in some way shape or form.
Some of the most significant changes are the new additions to the feature set. This includes new SimBrief import and integration for the P3D version of the plane, along with full support for SayIntentions (MSFS and P3D). There is now a physical throttle position display, more baro sync options, and various other additions, which can be viewed down below.
It isn’t just new additions with the new update to the MD-11. TFDi Design has addressed many issues and fixed a range of issues reported by the community. Numerous issues including MSFS-specific EFB display errors, standby altimeter and altitudes behaviour, engine bleed and ignition issues, ILS tracking inconsistencies, and autoland performance. Other fixes addressed lighting inconsistencies, temperature initialization, Navigraph login persistence, and stabilization trim functionality.
As for the changes, most of it is all sound-related. Improved startup, GE, and engine sounds with refined mixes for both interior and exterior environments. Volume adjustments were made for cockpit and fuel ignition sounds, alongside removing and refining specific alert behaviours for a more immersive experience.
