In a short message on their Facebook page, Terrainy Studios has announced they had entered a partnership with Gaya Simulations to develop the Samos Airport (LGSM) and Island for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The scenery was previously announced last summer. The developer shared several additional screenshots showcasing the main airport buildings and detailed modeling. Terrainy studios is a little known developer who was previously working on X-Plane 11. The partnership with Gaya Simulations is a good quality stamp, and will also probably enable Terrainy to be distributed through Orbx Central ; although this has yet to be confirmed. No release date nor pricing has been announced at the moment.
In the same post, the developer asked simmers to support the local communities of Samos and Izmir which have just been hit by a terrible 6.6 to 7 earthquake at around the same time the announcement was made.
