PMDG revealed that they will be bringing rain effects on the windshield of aircraft in an earlier post. This new effect, which will debut first on the upcoming 747-8 is their answer to TFDi Design’s True Glass.
The short teaser video posted on the PMDG Facebook page shows the effect slashing against the windshield. It’s short, but a sweet first glimpse into the new technology.
Just to confirm, it will be a P3DV4 exclsuive feature due to the memory limitations of FSX. This was confirmed by PMDG in their original post. The technology will eventually make its way to the 747-400, 777 and the future NG3.
