TDM Scenery Design has announced that they will be bringing Alicante–Elche Airport (LEAL) to Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer has described the airport as a “first-class airport” and will be “soon” ready.
Alicante–Elche Airport is located in the south of Spain just south of the city of the same name. The Spanish airport sees over 15 million passengers visit each year. The biggest airlines to operate to and from the airport include Ryanair, Norwegian Air Shuttle, easyJet and Vueling meaning that there are plenty of European flights to be had from the airport. The airport features a single 9,800ft runway and plenty of aircraft parking for a variety of aircraft sizes.
The previews shared by TDM Scenery Design specifically highlight the intricate air traffic control tower modelling and some of the nearby buildings and objects. Very little else was shown, nor any additional details on what to expect from the airport product when it releases.
We’ll be sure to keep following the development and let you know should we hear anything else.
The announcement of Alicante Airport follows on from the announcement of both Valencia and Caracas Venzuela for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
