Spain’s holiday destination of Almeria is home to the Almeria International Airport (LEAM) and will soon be replicated in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The airport, with it’s 3200m long runway set on the stunning Andalusian coastline, was teased by TDM Scenery Design in a post on their Facebook page. In the height of summer, Almeria welcomes airlines from all across Europe as they bring a vast array of tourists to visit this spectacular part of Spain’s Mediterranean landscape.

Little has been shared of their progress apart from one solitary image in their Facebook post. The developers have previously brought A Coruña Airport and Óscar Machado Zuloaga Airport to the simulator.

FSElite will bring you more information when it becomes available.

Having grown up a stone's throw away from Manchester Airport, Jordan had no choice but to love aviation and all things planes. With the help of flight simulators, namely FSX and more recently Xplane 11, he eventually muddled his way to sitting behind the controls of the real thing on a daily basis.
