Taxi2Gate has released a new version of their Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport for Prepar3D v4 and v5. Charles de Gaulle Airport (LFPG) is the main airport in France and serves over 76 million passengers each year. The airport serves as a hub for flag carrier Air France, but also sees plenty of traffic from easyJet, Norwegian, KLM and many other global carriers. The huge concourse, a large number of runways and various parking spots mean that aircraft of any size can visit the airport and simmers can fly to virtually almost any virtual location from Europe’s second buisest airport.
The new release includes custom ground textures and photo scenery, whilst ensuring that performance is optimised for various hardware. The team has included many airport buildings, with some of the terminals also featuring interior modelling. Other features include static objects, an accurate AFCAD based on the current layout and also SODE jetways. Finally, the airport has been built using PBR textures, which is an improvement over the 2017 original from Taxi2Gate.
Originally, Taxi2Gate released Charles De Gaulle Airport for Prepar3D back in 2017 for FSX and P3D, but this new version brings the airport to a more modern standard and is compatible with more modern simulators. Those who do own the original 2017 product can update to this 2021 release for €15.00 on simMarket. However, if you’re looking to purchase and you don’t own the original, it will cost you €26.99 (excluding taxes).
