Following on from the small teaser screenshot the other day, Taxi2Gate has released Indianapolis International Airport (KIND) for Prepar3D. The scenery developer, which has taken a bit of a hiatus as of late, has returned with the North American airport and features a variety of features.
Taxi2Gate has included custom ground texturing for the entire airport, including custom photo scenery for the surrounding area. Taxi2Gate has also included native 3D buildings, realistic ground markings and shadowing, along with PBR texturing throughout. Numerous static objects are included as well as an accurate AFCAD file to ensure parking spots and taxi routes match the current state of the airport.
The international airport is located a few miles away from the city of Indianapolis in Indiana and sees airlines such as Allegiant Air, Southwest Airlines and American Airlines visit on a regular basis. Some of the most popular locations served by the airport include Boston, Austin, Las Vegas and Orlando, with some international routes to parts of Canada also flown to and from the airport. In addition to serving a range of domestic routes, the airport is also home to FedEx Express serving a huge number of airports across the world. Indianapolis International Airport features 3 main runways with the longest being 11,200ft in length, meaning a variety of sized aircraft can easily visit the airport.
You can buy Taxi2Gate Indianapolis International Airport from simMarket for €24.00 and is compatible with Prepar3D v5. There’s no mention of compatibility with earlier versions of Prepar3D on the product page.
