Scenery developer Taimodels released their anticipated rendition of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, India for X-Plane 12, following the release of the scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Flight Simulator 2024.
Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) is India’s third-busiest airport. Opened in 2008, BLR handles over 41 million passengers annually across two runways and two terminals. The airport is largely solar-powered, well connected by roads, and will soon be linked by metro and suburban rail.
Taimodels’ rendition features detailed terminal interiors, accurate airport lighting, tower laser light effects, handcrafted PBR ground markings and textures, and realistic airport buildings created with MSFS PBR materials. The X-Plane 12 rendition features custom PBR building and ground textures, a detailed interior model, performance optimization, and completed autogen around the airport.
