Denmark’s Billund International Airport (ICAO: EKBI) is the latest airport by developer Taimodels to release for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.
The single runway airport in the centre of Denmark hosts a variety of regional and international carriers, as well as being a busy cargo hub. The scenery by Taimodels recreates the airport with hand-made, detailed PBR ground markings and textures based on the latest airport layout. Additionally, the airport includes detailed terminal interiors, cargo buildings, and airport structures using MSFS PBR materials.
With ILS and RNP approaches to both ends of the 3101m runway, the challenging weather conditions can make Billund a tricky place to fly into at certain times of the year. Passengers board their aircraft via jetbridge walkways or they are driven to and from 16 remote parking areas.
