Scenery developer Taimodels is bringing Kempegowda International Airport (VOBL) to Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane, recreating one of India’s busiest and most modern airports with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Located north of Bengaluru, Kempegowda serves as a major hub for both domestic and international airlines, handling millions of passengers each year through its two parallel runways and state-of-the-art terminal facilities.
The developer is also expected to include surrounding infrastructure such as the access roads, parking areas, and distinctive terminal architecture that reflects Bengaluru’s role as India’s technology capital. A short preview video on their Facebook highlights how the team is bringing the airport to life in the simulators.
Taimodels has confirmed that the airport will be released on October 5th for Microsoft Flight Simulator (PC) and October 20th for X-Plane. Xbox users will be able to download the airport on November 15th 2025.
