In a recent post on social media, the availability of a new scenery for X-Plane was announced. Scenery developer Taburet has on this occasion, recreated the city and skyline of Detroit in the US state of Michigan. The scenery covers mostly the city itself, meaning it should blend in with any (custom) Detroit airports such as Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. With a focus on the city itself, many of the landmark buildings that make up the skyline are featured in this scenery such as Comerica Park, Ford Field, Little Caesars Arena, the Guardian Building, Ally Detroit Center and the Renaissance Center. The scenery is a standalone package, meaning it does not require any additional external libraries or software to run.

According to the developer, the scenery is tuned for both night and day flying and features a photorealistic base texture while remaining friendly to frame rates. They mention the objects and buildings are based on real world data, aiming to recreate the position and dimensions as accurately as possible. It is compatible with both X-Plane 11 and 12.
The scenery is now available on SIMMARKET and the X-Plane.org store for a price ranging roughly between $8.69 to $11.85 (excluding taxes).
