Inyokern Airport is a public airport located in Kern County, California. The airport is mostly used for general aviation, but used to serve scheduled airline passenger services until the mid 2010’s. The airport is notable been used in a number of car commercial’s for various brands, as well as the blockbuster movie Top Gun: Maverick, in which Tom Cruise can be seen working on his own P-51 Mustang in the hangar.
