Steam Gauge Overhaul Announced for the Baron and Bonanza

Just Flight has announced that both the default Baron G-58 and the Beechcraft Bonanza G35 will be getting the Steam Gauge Overhaul package in the very near future. These packs change the default aircraft by adding new gauges, and additional wing-tip fuel tanks, whilst building on the systems of the aircraft.

A big focus for this pack is the inclusion of new steam gauges in the cockpit. This includes new and old navigation systems, radio stacks and more. A failure system is also included that allows for persistent wear, scheduled failures and more. The flight model has also seen improvements based on real-world data and pilot input.

Visually, the aircraft types have had an overhaul in the cockpit. Using 4K texturing, you will be able to see fingerprints, dust and more inside the cockpit. It’s good to note that the external model and texturing have been left untouched to ensure compatibility with default liveries.

The Bonanza Pack

Steam Gauge Overhaul – Analog Bonanza contains both normally aspirated (A36) and turbocharged (A36TC) aircraft with an advanced reciprocating engine simulation, and features analogue instrumentation, swappable radio configurations and an overhauled electrical system with every circuit breaker, meter, switch, and knob functioning.

Radio navigation systems are available from several eras of the Bonanza’s history. Fly without a GPS via a Bendix KNS-81 RNAV system or with a Garmin GTN 750 (PMS50 or TDS). Other radio equipment includes KX-155 NAV/COM radios, GNS 530, GNS 430, KR 87 ADF, KDI 572 DME, GTX 327 Transponder, KFC 150 Autopilot and a Bendix RDR1150XL Colour Weather Radar.

The Bonanza pack will be available soon from Just Flight’s website for $32.99 USD.
