Following on from the announcement last month, it has been confirmed that Stairport Sceneries upcoming tool shadeX will release sometime during this week. The utility for X-Plane 11 will add various unique effects to the simulator.
The product was initially designed as a tool for taking screenshots, the developers felt that the effects would be useful for users in X-Plane 11 in general. The team said that the tool is “powerful”, it also has a focus on being user-friendly. The team said that the product has entered beta testing and have started sharing new YouTube videos demonstrating the product in action. The first of which is how to install and activate the product.
The new tool will enable simmers to choose from a variety of presets to enhance and change the visual look of the simulator with minimal effort.
No pricing has yet to be determined at this point, but we’ll keep you updated for any news on that front.
