Developer Supercritical Simulations Group has released further previews of their 747-8i V2 development over on the X-Plane forum.
Ricardo Bolognini posted the screenshots showing many shots of the Primary Flight Display along with the centre pedestal and Flight Management Computer. Ricardo also commented about how they came to choose the font sizing and resolution used in the update with advisory from a real-world 747-8i pilot. SSG has chosen to use 2K texturing which means the aircraft will be frame rate friendly even on middle-range hardware but without losing quality.
The screenshots also show developing systems that will accompany the release of V2, such as a working IRS system and a more in-depth FMC in comparison to version 1.
