Supercritical Simulations Group has released screenshots of their updated 747-8V2 PFD’s over on their forum.
The 747-8 by SSG has been released for some time but the team are working on making vast improvements to the systems and in-cockpit texturing to really enhance the aircraft in version 2.
The screenshots posted by Ricardo of SSG show the main Primary Flight Display and Electronic Flight Instrument System. The PFD also shows examples of added levels of detail in the Flight Management System too, such as range circles from waypoints, weather radar and extended waypoint information.
Information about release timeframes or whether the update will be a completely new payware release or an update to the previous version is unclear but Ricardo has mentioned that they aim to complete work in the second half of 2019.
You can purchase SSG’s 747-8V1 for $55 over now the X-Plane.org store which includes the Intercontinental Advanced and Freighter models of the type. We will be sure to report on any further advances on the development.
