File this under the category of strange, but maybe fun types of add-ons that suit Sundays, but a new product called Sound Bites: Affirmations has landed on the in-sim Marketplace. A new developer called Spicy Simulations is here with a quirky add-on that’s focused on something less serious.
Spicy Simulations describes itself as a developer focused on lighthearted, entertainment-driven add-ons that do not take themselves too seriously. Rather than aiming for strict realism, the studio’s products are built around humour and personality.
The novelty add-on includes 800 unique audio files triggered across seven phases of flight: Parked, Taxi, Takeoff, Climb, Cruise, Descent, and Landing. Each phase contains around 100 affirmations, while Cruise features 200 lines to add additional variety during longer flights. A random affirmation plays roughly once every 60 seconds.
The trailer gives a good overview of the product and sets expectations that this isn’t a product that should be taken too seriously.
It’s on the marketplace now for $11.99 USD for both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.
It’s nice to sometimes cover more fun and silly things in flight sim. Doesn’t always have to be serious.
