As their final reveal of the day, SoFly has just released Budapest Airport (LHBP) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

The team had previously shared some previews of the airport, but did not indicate on any kind of release status. However, a teaser trailer dropped at the end of SoFly’s presentation at #FSExpoFriday confirmed that the airport is out now.

Budapest Airport is an international gateway in Central Europe, offering routes to the US, Asia, the Middle East, and across all of Europe. It’s a big hub for WizzAir, but sees plenty of frequency from other airlines around the world, including American, Emirates, Qatar, Ryanair, and more.

The airport comes with an accurate ground layout, using the latest data from the airport, including correct runway and apron profiles. A custom GSX profile is included, along with animated people and vehicles, high-def ground textures, and interior modelling for the main terminal buildings.

Finally, the team confirmed the use of new audio within the airport that plays in aprons, the ATC tower, the ramp and the interior buildings, adding a new layer of immersion. You can use the SoFly Airport Config tool to adjust settings to your liking.

SoFly has launched Budapest Airport under a special discounted price of £13.49 (excluding taxes), which is 10% off its usual price of £14.99. The discounted price will be in effect until the end of June 2026. You can buy it directly from the SoFly store or from iniBuilds.
