SoFly Releases Bristol Airport for MSFS 2024

SoFly has released its Bristol Airport for MSFS 2024.

Following on from the announcement earlier this week, SoFly has released its Bristol Airport (EGGD) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Bristol Airport, located in the West Country of the UK is the largest airport in the South West, seeing millions of passengers pass through its doors yearly to locations right across Europe. easyJet has a strong presence at the airport, along with Ryanair, TUI, Jet2, and others. Most flights are within Europe, but TUI used to occasionally operate a 787 service to various transatlantic destinations, which is a challenge on the 6,600ft runway.

SoFly has built the airport based on the current layout as of 2025. This includes the newly constructed car parks, hotels, and changes to the entrance to the airport. There have also been a number of changes to parking stands and taxiway signage, all of which have been made accurate.

The feature list includes crisp HD PBR textures, authentic modelling of the terminal and nearby area, plus an accurate depiction of the infamous hump on Bristol Airport’s runway. SoFly has worked with Elton Hjalmarsson to create an accurate GSX profile (terminal doors will animate open during boarding/disembarkation), whilst SoFly’s Airport Config tool has been updated to allow users to configure options such as turning on/off the custom GSE or the airport sound effects.

You can buy it from the SoFly Store or iniBuilds for £13.99 (plus local applicable taxes). It will be available from other stores on November 17th 2025. It will come to Xbox and PC via the Marketplace later this month.
