SoFly has confirmed that its upcoming Cardiff Airport (EGFF) for X-Plane 12 will be released on April 23rd 2026. Along with that, a new trailer was also shared, highlighting the product’s features and visuals.
SoFly said in their blog post that the airport is an up-to-date rendition, with high-quality textures, detailed modelling, and plenty of exterior modelling for the GA areas and the BA maintenance hangar. They also say there will be winter effects added during the colder months, along with taking advantage of the wet weather effects found in X-Plane 12. Jetways are also functional thanks to the use of SAM and/or openSAM.
It has also been confirmed that the release will take place exclusively through the iniBuilds store initially, with additional stores added in the future. We will be sure to share the news once it’s available to purchase, along with pricing information.
