SoFly has confirmed that their anticipated Bristol Airport (EGGD) will release on Friday, November 7th 2025 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Bristol Airport by SoFly has been created with the recent construction and changes, reflecting the current layout. This includes the newly constructed car parks, hotels, and changes to the entrance to the airport. There have also been a number of changes to parking stands and taxiway signage, all of which have been made accurate.

The feature list includes crisp HD PBR textures, authentic modelling of the terminal and nearby area, plus an accurate depiction of the infamous hump on Bristol Airport’s runway. SoFly has worked with Elton Hjalmarsson to create an accurate GSX profile (terminal doors will animate open during boarding/disembarkation), whilst SoFly’s Airport Config tool has been updated to allow users to configure options such as turning on/off the custom GSE or the airport sound effects.
Whilst the product was previously slated to be released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, SoFly made the decision back in September to make it exclusive for the more modern simulator. They cited that by doing so, they would make the “best version of the airport as possible” by developing for a single simulator.
