New developer SNJ Sim has released Fukuoka Airport (RJFF) for Prepar3D. Formally known as Itazuke Air Base, the airport is located on the island of Kyushu and is the fourth busiest airport in Japan. In fact, it is also the fourth busiest single-runway airport in the world and sees airlines from around the world visit on a regular basis.
The Japanese airport sees airlines such as All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines and Peach Aviation regular visit. Whilst there are plenty of flights to parts of Asia, other destinations to the airport also include Honolulu and Helsinki. Because the airport is surrounded by plenty of residential property, there is a strict curfew of 10 pm for all flights to land or take off from the airport.
Despite being a newcomer to the world of flight simulation development, the team has crafted the airport with quality details that look fairly impressive in the screenshots. The team has included a number of high-quality 3D models for the terminal buildings, detailed texturing and also an accurate ground layout. In addition, the team has included photoreal terrain with custom mesh so that it blends in seamlessly with the simulator. Sadly, the airport only features static jetways, but when combined with GSX Level 2, you can use SODE jetways with correct vehicles parking.
SNJ Sim’s Fukuoka Airport can be picked up from simMarket for just €9.00 (excluding tax).
