Saint Barths Airport, also known as Saint Barthélemy Airport and Gustaf III Airport, is a small public airport located in the village of St. Jean on the Caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy. The airport is famous for its challenging approach as aircraft landing must descend sharply over a hill and a traffic roundabout before touching down on a very short runway, while departures take off directly over a beach.
The airport is served by small regional aircraft, including the BN-2 Islander, Cessna Grand Caravan, DHC-6 Twin Otter, and the Pilatus PC-12. Airlines serving Saint Barths include Air Antilles, Cape Air, St Barth Commuter, St Barth Executive, Tradewind Aviation, West Indies Helicopters and Winair. DHL Aviation handles cargo operations.
