Skyward Simulations recently shared a development update for their upcoming Cessna Citation C680 Sovereign+ for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.
Skyward Simulations mentioned that the project has come a long way and gone through numerous stages to get to where it is now. Although the announcement of a release date is not here yet, the update contained some new screenshots and a comprehensive feature list of what is to come.

The full feature list can be found on Skyward Simulations’ Discord server.
A summarised feature list can be found below.
C680 Features
Aircraft Systems
- Electrical: Detailed bus logic with 170+ simulated circuits. Includes battery temp, ground power logic, and interactive circuit breakers.
- Anti-Ice: Fully simulated system for wings, engines, stabiliser, and windshield with temperature monitoring and CAS alerts.
- Bleed Air: Accurate pneumatic layout with APU integration, auto source selection, and links to ECS/anti-ice.
- Fuel & Hydraulics: Realistic fuel crossfeed/pump logic. Hydraulics model, accumulator gas/fluid dynamics and parking brake.
- FADEC & Autothrottle: Thrust limits for all phases, TO servo logic, and accurate FMS speed cruise data.
- Pressurisation: Automatic control with separate cockpit/cabin temperature zones.
- Datalink: Fully simulated ACARS/CPDLC (FANS 1/A+/ATN B1) with SATCOM/VHF modelling. Handles D-ATIS, clearances, weather, and ADS-C.
- Other Systems: Oxygen/water usage with state saving, control locks, and a Takeoff/Landing Data computer for V-speeds and distances.
G5000 Avionics & EFB
- Synoptics: Dedicated pages for electrical, fuel, hydraulic, and system summary.
- GTC (Central Control): Manages datalink (D-ATIS, TELEX, oceanic clearances), TOLD computer, cabin management (lights/temp), and system tests/status.
- Crew Alerting: CAS with configurable inhibit states (TOPI/LOPI/ESDI) for all major systems.
- EFB Tablet:
- Service: Manages payload, ground services, and system states (hydraulics, fluids, oxygen & more).
- Flight: Displays SimBrief OFP.
- Checklists: Normal procedures (abnormal/emergency planned).
- Settings: Aircraft configuration, simulation options, and SimBrief integration.
Visuals & Performance
- Model: Numerous interactive exterior panels (doors, service points) and cabin details. Optional ground equipment (GPU, fuel truck) and visible crew.
- Performance: Reported by testers to be in line with default MSFS aircraft.
- EFB: Feature-rich and intuitive implementation for aircraft control, flight planning, and checklists.
